Learning to See
Photography has been a lifelong passion for more than forty years. Throughout my career as a Pipeline Integrity Engineer, I learned to observe subtle patterns, interpret complex systems, and appreciate that small details often reveal the greatest insights. That same curiosity has always drawn me to photography.
In 2023, I joined The Photo Mentor, an online photography program led by acclaimed and multi-award-winning Canadian photojournalist David Chidley. During the December, 2023 assignment, I was introduced to Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) photography.
The connection was immediate. Within the first month, I created more than 2,000 ICM images, discovering an artistic approach that perfectly combined observation, creativity, and experimentation.
Today, the techniques of my ICM Photo Magic work are much more intentional, and less experimental, and this web-site is the expression of that journey.
Painting with Light
Rather than recording a landscape exactly as it appears, I use intentional camera movement to create painterly interpretations of light, colour, texture, and atmosphere.
Every image is a unique collaboration between intention and chance. No two photographs can ever be recreated exactly, making each work a singular expression of a moment in time.
My goal is not to document nature. It is to interpret it.
From Observation to Art
Whether studying industrial systems or photographing forests, rivers, and changing skies, I've always been fascinated by patterns.
Today those patterns are found in light, movement, colour, and season.
Each collection invites viewers to slow down, look beyond the obvious, and experience familiar landscapes in a different way.
A Personal Experience
Choosing artwork is a personal decision.
Rather than operating as an online print store, I choose to work directly with clients to select artwork, recommend sizing and presentation options, and coordinate professional printing and framing.
Every project is tailored to the individual space and delivered as a complete, turnkey experience.

I believe that fine art should do more than decorate a wall. It should create a feeling. It should invite conversation. It should reward quiet reflection. It should continue to reveal something new each time you encounter it.
